Yesterday marked an exciting moment as we installed The Martini Girl by The Drew Collective at Smith & Wollensky Adelphi, West End. Their first piece of art in 10 years. Positioned perfectly in one of the stairway, this eye-catching piece brings a modern burst of energy to the classic wood-panelled setting.
With her oversized sunglasses, confident smile, alluring lips, and a martini glass in hand, The Martini Girl is more than just a pop of colour, she’s a statement. The bold use of primary hues, yellow, red, and electric blue, contrasts dramatically with the dark, sophisticated interiors of Smith & Wollensky, creating a playful yet refined visual balance. The ambient lighting from the window above subtly guides the viewer's gaze upward, ensuring she truly "catches the eye" just as intended.
This installation wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing team that helped bring it all together. A huge thank you to Lilian Fantinatti, Susanna Palmer, Falko Molitor, Georgie, Tom cook and of course our Drew Crew for their support, energy, and meticulous attention to detail. They made the entire process a real pleasure.
If you’re in the West End, why not stop by and see her in all her glory? Perhaps treat yourself to a cocktail, or even better, a martini, and enjoy a spot of lunch while soaking in this bold new addition to the space.
